Annelle K. Gregory wins the 2017 Sphinx competition

It was with great pleasure that I watched the live video of the competition last Sunday, and even greater pleasure watched the announcement that Annelle won.  Yes, it was also nice that she chose to use my violin, so I got to hear it being used for its intended purpose.  This was violin #21, the same one that won the VMAAI violinmaking competition.

In the meantime, I managed to get violin #22 finished, after two varnish/antiquing failures.  It's not easy.
